Biography

Martin Ndagijimana is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors at KAVIS Partners Ltd. In this role, he provides strategic oversight, promotes sound corporate governance, and supports the firm’s leadership in delivering high-quality professional services with integrity and accountability. He also guides the firm’s strategic direction, strengthens risk management frameworks, and ensures compliance with national and international professional standards. In addition to his board leadership role, Martin serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD) PLC, where he leads the internal audit function to enhance risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness. Prior to joining BRD, he held senior audit roles at Equity Bank Rwanda Ltd and I&M Bank Rwanda Plc, focusing on risk-based audits, internal controls, and compliance advisory. Martin began his professional career at Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA in Finance from Amity University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Rwanda. He is also a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
